Managing Stress with Stress Tips
Once you are able to recognize the signs of stress then you have made the first step to becoming stress free. It seems that we have come to the point in our lives where we are constantly exposed to stress and we have just accepted it as part of life. In fact we aren't even aware of the stress symptoms of it anymore.

Here's a little test to see how uptight you are:
Concentrate on how your body feels right now. Does every part of you feel tight?
Sit back in your chair and just let your body go limp. Now visualize all that tenseness in your body just draining out. Stay like this for one minute. Now sit up and concentrate on how your body feels now? Compare it to the way you felt when you started this test. If you can recognize a difference then you are under chronic stress and don't even realize it.

You can take control of the stress in your live and live life to the fullest. You have the power to be able to
-enjoy your children who seem to be growing at lightening speed
-generate enough money to do the things you want
-feel good about yourself and life in general
-even kindle that excitement that was present in the beginning of your relationship with your spouse.

Its important that you realize that stress is robbing you of all the good things in life. The important thing is that you are able to successfully and happily fill all the roles that your are responsible for in your life, like...
-being able to provide for your children's needs
-being there as support for your spouse during their difficulties
-being a homemaker that can provide a safe and happy environment for the family
-being able to transport the the kids to activities, or Doctor's appointments.
-being able to fill the role of two parents when one is away on business

This list could go on and on with all the different responsibilities and roles we must take on in life. These are all important but one thing you must realize is that You are important and part of stress management is realizing that you can put yourself first on occasion without feeling guilty.


There are three areas of life that make up our our existence. Mind, Body and Soul. Everyday of your life these three areas are affected and influenced by the world you live in. You are constantly being put into a position of making decisions on a daily basis that affect these three areas, and not just you but the others around you.

You have the power to control all of these areas. Once you recognize and gain that control you are then applying stress management. What we have talked about is all about you, and you are an individual and you deserve to be treated as one.
